Reverend Austin Howard Medley follows in the footsteps of his paternal grandfather, the Late Rev. Major R. Medley, former Pastor of New Jerusalem AUMP Church in Salem, NJ and St. John AUMP Church in Newark, DE. 

As a child and through high school, Austin attended St. Matthew’s Baptist Church in Williamstown, NJ under the leadership of Sr. Pastor, Dr. Raymond Gordon, Sr. He was active in the Youth Ministry, served as a Jr. Usher, Summer Camp Counselor and other various positions. 

Fast-forward; Austin earned his Bachelors degree in Sociology while on a full Football scholarship at Villanova University. After graduation, He and his wife Jemila lived in Dallas, TX for 6 years; where he surrendered his life to Christ, was called to the ministry of the gospel, and was later ordained by Pastor Bryan L. Carter at Concord Church. There, Pastor Austin became a full time staff member & excelled in his role as their Student Ministry Pastor.

In 2023, the Lord lead Austin and his family back to the East Coast to Calvary Chapel Church Delaware County where he currently serves as the Family Pastor. Austin is also matriculating towards a Master’s Degree in Discipleship Ministry at Liberty University to be completed in the Spring of 2025. 

Austin has a heart for serving others and helping individuals reach their fullness potential. To exercise his gifts, Austin founded Medley Search Group where he connects mission-driven people with mission-driven organizations. He is also the Character Coach for the Delsea Regional HS Football Team. 

Pastor Austin and his wife Jemila are proud parents to (3) handsome boys; Major, Amari & Caleb.
